Each ashtray is a single piece of wood and resin. Some hold gold leaf; some hold a whole miniature world under the surface. Tap a piece to see it larger.

The craft
How a WOOSIO piece is made
Resin work cannot be rushed. Every piece moves through the same slow sequence in the Croatian workshop before it is signed off.
Select
Each wood blank is chosen for its grain, figure and natural edge.
Shape
The wood is cut, carved and stabilised to its final form.
Pour
Epoxy resin is tinted by hand and poured in layers.
Cure
The resin is left to harden fully before any finishing begins.
Finish
Sanded through progressive grits and polished to a deep gloss.
